Welcome to Hush & Holy.
Romans 15 is a beautiful reminder that the Christian life is not meant to be lived alone. Paul encourages believers to bear one another’s burdens, seek unity in Christ, and live in a way that brings glory to God. Throughout this chapter, we see the heart of a servant who desired not only to preach the gospel but also to strengthen and encourage fellow believers.
One verse shines especially brightly:
“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”
— Romans 15:13 (KJV)
Hope is one of God’s precious gifts. It does not depend on our circumstances but on His unchanging faithfulness. As we place our trust in Him, He fills our hearts with joy, peace, and the quiet confidence that He is always at work, even when we cannot yet see His plan.
As I prepared this chapter for Hush & Holy, I was reminded that Scripture has a gentle way of strengthening us day by day. Sometimes we need comfort. Sometimes we need courage. Sometimes we simply need to be reminded that God is with us. My prayer is that Romans 15 will encourage you to trust the Lord more deeply, to love others with the compassion of Christ, and to abound in the hope that only He can give.
